Marwa Gouda is an Arabic–English conference interpreter based in Cairo. She interprets simultaneously and consecutively at conferences, high-level meetings and consultations, with a focus on politics, international affairs, human security and refugee issues. She holds the Professional Diploma in Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpreting from the American University in Cairo.
Before the booth, she spent thirteen years translating and editing for international brands from English and German into Arabic, and she works as an Arabic voice-over artist. She also interprets for television, and is open to live studio and sports assignments.
